A Fight Until the End
Colorado State faced a tough test against No. 1 Utah Valley, where they battled through in a 20-9 loss. Despite the final score, the Rams continued to compete each quarter ending the game with three goals. Utah Valley came out strong off the first whistle, controlling possession and executing quickly to build an early lead.
The Rams responded to the Wolverines offensive runs with Lochlan Rogers (#7) and Mason Daly (#18) both having standout performances during the matchup. Rogers led with five goals and Daly added two of his own.
Both players capitalized off assists by key players like Ryan Menard (#53) and Jimmy Ponicki (#34). Junior LSM Kaden Rahne (#20) recorded his second point of the season after clearing the ball to help Daly score.
Despite the deficit, Colorado State ended the game with the final goal. The Rams turn their focus now to Senior Day against Brigham Young.

At 5:31 Rogers found the net with the first Ram goal of the game.

With his first of the game Daly found his way deep into the net at 7:42.

7:34 UVU added another goal for the quarter.
His second goal of the game, Rogers sank the ball at 5:29.

Ending the second UVU scored four more goals.

UVU started the quarter again at 13:47.
At 11:58 Rogers completed a hat trick off a feed by Menard.

Adding two more UVU found the net at 9:53 and 8:35.
With 5:04 left Jack Rego (#22) got his first goal of the game off an assist by Menard.

With just six seconds left in the third, Daly scored down the alley off a clear and assisted by Rahne.

At 12:07 and 10:50 UVU scored their first two of the quarter.

4:48 UVU added another goal in the quarter.
At 4:23 Rogers found the top right side of the net for his fourth of the game.
