On the Road
Colorado State continued their dominant showing in the Rocky Mountain Showdown, securing their third consecutive win with a 13-10 win over Boulder. The Rams started the game off strong, building an 8-2 lead by halftime. But Boulder fought back, outscoring them 8-5 during the last half of the game.
Showing out on the field was Lochlan Rogers (#7), recording four goals during the contest and earning Player of the Game. Despite the late surge from Boulder, Jack Rego (#22) and Ryan Menard (#53) helped the Rams with key goals throughout the game, while players like Joe Dixon (#41) and Kai Skaer (#76) both had a huge impact on forcing Boulder’s offense to scramble and lose opportunities to score. Dixon was also recognized for his impact on the field, earning the 10th Mountain Division Award.

Game Outlook
Though the Rams lost their last matchup against the Cougars less than two weeks ago, they showed the ability to score in bunches while holding strong defensively, winning the third quarter in that game. If they can put together four solid quarters and get better looks at the cage, they’ll have a chance to avenge the previous loss and advance to the finals of the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference Tournament.
