#6 seeded Tennessee vs. #3 seeded Colorado State
The CSU defense of Pat Coy, Luke Leonard, and Ryan Robichaud kept the Volunteer attack under control all game long, as CSU led by a wide margin in the battle of possession time, as well as number of shots, and gradually pulled away, never letting UT make a run.
Attackmen Mike Napolilli and Ryan Ferrin each had 3 goals for State, while sophomore middie Adam Sisbarro added 2 goals and an assist. When asked for a quote, the reserved Sisbarro could only strike a pose. Ty Wilson made 13 saves in cage for. The Rams, who run their record to 13-4 overall, and will face #2 seed, 2nd ranked Sonoma State in what promises to be a great semi-final Friday night.
