We’re asking every member of the Ram Family to take a moment to read about Matt Ehrlich and Jack Genadek, two alumni who have given so much to this program and who are now facing some of life’s most difficult challenges. Whether you can give financially, share these links with your network, or simply keep them in your thoughts and prayers, every gesture of support matters.
Supporting Matt Ehrlich – Battling Pancreatic Cancer
Many of you know Matt Ehrlich not only as a Colorado State Lacrosse alum but as a referee who has continued to give back to the sport he loves. Matt is currently facing a battle with pancreatic cancer and will be undergoing surgery this week.
Matt and his family have shown incredible courage, and now it’s our turn to show up for them. If you are in a position to help, please consider contributing to his GoFundMe. Every donation — no matter the size — helps provide his family with the support and stability they need as Matt focuses on his recovery.
Supporting Jack Genadek – Recently Diagnosed with ALS
Jack Genadek is a Colorado State Lacrosse alum who has recently received a diagnosis of ALS. Jack’s family has created a CaringBridge page to keep everyone who loves him informed and connected as they navigate this journey together. In their own words:
“As we begin this journey with ALS, we know that so many people love Jack and want to support him and our family. We are incredibly grateful for every text, call, message, prayer, and gesture of love. We also know that sharing updates individually can become difficult, especially as we navigate everything that comes with this journey. We’ve created this space as a way to keep everyone who loves Jack informed in one place.”
Please visit Jack’s CaringBridge page to follow his story, leave a message of encouragement, and find ways to support him and his family during this time.
