GREELEY, Colo. — The Colorado State Rams men’s lacrosse team opened Wednesday’s game with a fierce attack, scoring two goals against the University of Northern Colorado within the first 45 seconds, and they didn’t let up the pressure. The Rams ended the game with a convincing 17-6 win over the Bears.
Colorado State Knocked out in First Round of MCLA Championships

Commerce City, Colorado – In one of the closest and most exciting games of the first round of the MCLA National Championships, #14 seed Colorado State Rams lost by one goal to # 3 seed Chapman Panthers, 8-9. They played a much better game than the first time around against the Panthers, but just couldn’t score in the final minutes to keep their championship hopes alive.

Boulder, Colorado- Playing as if it could have been their last game of the season, Colorado State left it all on the field in their RMLC opening round loss to conference rival Brigham Young, 7-12. The Rams played with a passion and excitement for the game and an intensity that has not been present in the past few games.

Fort Collins, Colorado- In their last game of the 2009 season, the 8th ranked Colorado State Rams (11-7, 2-2) put on one of their best shows as they defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers (9-4, 3-1), 20-3. In addition to the offensive scoring spree, the Colorado State defense limited Nebraska to very few scoring opportunities.

Fort Collins, Colorado- The 8th ranked Colorado State Rams defeated the Wyoming Cowboys Wednesday evening by a score of 16-0. This score was almost to be expected considering the small size of Wyoming’s program.

Fort Collins, Colorado- In a back and forth game, #10 Colorado State Rams were on the back end of #18 Sonoma State Seawolves as the game came to a close, losing 8-9 after a goal with 1:36 remaining by Jordan Ambler.
Colorado State has Successful Showing in the Rocky Mountain Showdown

Denver, Colorado- In the 6th Annual installment of the Rocky Mountain Showdown, #10 Colorado State Rams came out victorious over #9 Lindenwood Lions by a score of 11-8. It was a great day for a game at a venue such as INVESCO Field at Mile High, and the crowd of 1,000+ was treated to a great show by both teams.
#8 Colorado State Loses After Disappointing Finish to #7 Minnesota-Duluth

Ann Arbor, Michigan- On paper, it was a game the Colorado State Rams should have won. In actuality, the Rams did win the first three quarters, but gave up the final four goals of the game to the Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs in the fourth quarter to lose 9-8.

Ann Arbor, MI- The University of Michigan Wolverines demonstrated why they are the first ranked team and defending champs as they defeated the Colorado State Rams by a final score of 16-3.
