CSU Upsets #3 Arizona State

TEMPE, Arizona— The Colorado State Rams won a fierce game against the Arizona State Sun Devils, keeping neck and neck most of the game, and taking the lead early in the fourth quarter. The teams were equally matched, and the game had the potential to go either way, but the Rams won 14-10 and made it known that they deserve to be ranked in the top five.

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colorado— Friday night provided the Rams lacrosse team with an exciting win against Simon Fraser. While the game wasn’t a huge upset, as the Rams were already ranked in the top ten, beating the Clansmen was a huge win that bodes well for the Rams future match ups against CU, Michigan and BYU.

LOUIS, Mo.— Heading into this weekend the CSU men’s lacrosse team was unsure of how they would measure up to their competitors, having experienced strong competition from Lindenwood in the past and not having played Texas in several years, but once the players stepped onto the field it was clear the Rams had what it takes to win away from home.

GREELEY, Colo. — The Colorado State Rams men’s lacrosse team opened Wednesday’s game with a fierce attack, scoring two goals against the University of Northern Colorado within the first 45 seconds, and they didn’t let up the pressure. The Rams ended the game with a convincing 17-6 win over the Bears.
Colorado State Knocked out in First Round of MCLA Championships

Commerce City, Colorado – In one of the closest and most exciting games of the first round of the MCLA National Championships, #14 seed Colorado State Rams lost by one goal to # 3 seed Chapman Panthers, 8-9. They played a much better game than the first time around against the Panthers, but just couldn’t score in the final minutes to keep their championship hopes alive.
Brigham Young Hands Colorado State Opening Round RMLC Loss

Boulder, Colorado- Playing as if it could have been their last game of the season, Colorado State left it all on the field in their RMLC opening round loss to conference rival Brigham Young, 7-12. The Rams played with a passion and excitement for the game and an intensity that has not been present in the past few games.
Colorado State Scores 20 in Season Finale against Nebraska

Fort Collins, Colorado- In their last game of the 2009 season, the 8th ranked Colorado State Rams (11-7, 2-2) put on one of their best shows as they defeated the Nebraska Cornhuskers (9-4, 3-1), 20-3. In addition to the offensive scoring spree, the Colorado State defense limited Nebraska to very few scoring opportunities.
