It is with great sadness that today the Creator has summoned a great warrior to his field in Heaven. Philip “Flip” Naumburg, a loving husband, father, brother, friend, coach and inventor passed peacefully today. One of the founders of the Vail Lacrosse Shootout, the winningest coach in CSU Lacrosse history, the creator of the offset head and the Rock-It-Pocket, a true coach's coach, Flip embodied passion in all things he touched. The sport has lost a true Hall of Famer, and those who were touched by his passion for life will forever be enriched by his friendship. Details to follow.
