CSU Lacrosse Family of Fame
Ada Luz Naumburg has been part of the CSU lacrosse family and program for more than 20 years. In fact Ada and Flip said their marital “I do’s” in a Las Vegas wedding ceremony in 1998 while CSU lacrosse was there for the annual “Best of the West” tournament. The entire team was there, too, and took part in the festivities. You might say that the Lax Rams were all Bridegrooms. Family is what this program is all about and we, the lacrosse family, want to thank Mrs. Naumburg for being part of building something that became very special in terms of on-field success as well as program growth and development. We couldn’t have generated a team family without some firm family foundations to hold things in place.
Tiana Smith has been a part of the CSU Lacrosse family for more than 15 years. Her involvement began innocently enough, cheering from the sideline for her then boyfriend, and CSU goaltender Alex Smith. Little did she know that she would end up seeing more CSU lacrosse games than all but two or three other people on Earth! Alex’s 11-year stint as a CSU Lacrosse coach could not have been possible without the support of Tiana and the ever-growing Smith family. The team’s successes were always due in part to Tiana’s generosity and selflessness. When it came to sharing her immediate family with the CSU lacrosse family, Tiana’s actions always went above and beyond. The CSULAA and the CSU Men’s Lacrosse team thanks her for all she has done over the years to help make CSU Lacrosse the most successful team in MCLA history.
