CSU to Induct Five into 2010 Hall of Fame Class

FORT COLLINS, Colorado— The Colorado State University men’s lacrosse program is proud to announce five inductees into the CSU Lacrosse Alumni Association Hall of Fame Class of 2010. The current Hall of Fame class includes players whose time at CSU span nearly five decades. Inducted players for 2010 are Wally Pollack, Rick Parietti, Will Smitham, Mike Napolilli and long-time head coach Flip Naumburg.
After 14 Seasons, Colorado State Lacrosse Coach Flip Naumburg to Step Down

Fort Collins, Colorado – After fourteen years on the job, Flip Naumburg will step down as head coach of Colorado State University men’s lacrosse this summer. Since 1996, Naumburg has patrolled the sidelines of the Green and Gold, leading his team to a record four Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association national championships and six Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference titles. Following a tumultuous spring season in 2009, Naumburg says his decision was made “in the spirit of trying to do what is right for CSU lacrosse.”
CollegeLAX to Provide Live Coverage of the 2009 MCLA National Championships

Denver, Colorado- The Colorado State Rams will enter the MCLA tournament as the #14 seed, which means they will have another shot against #3 seed Chapman in the opening round of the playoffs. They will face-off at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
Colorado State Looks to Redeem Themselves in RMLC Playoffs

Boulder, Colorado- This weekend will be an exciting one for the RMLC. With #2 seed Brigham Young playing #3 seed Colorado State at 4 p.m., and #1 seed Colorado hosting #4 seed Utah at 7 p.m. (according to the RMLC website), it should be anybody’s game. Both games will be played on Franklin Field, as well as the championship game the following day at 4 p.m.
#8 Colorado State Takes to the Skies for the Final Time

Fort Collins, CO- With head coach Flip Naumburg back in action and with two weeks’ rest after the exhausting five-game road trip to California and Utah, the Colorado State Rams will travel to Michigan where they will play #1 Michigan Wolverines and #7 University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs.
#7 Colorado State Prepares for 2009 Season

Fort Collins, Colorado. The Colorado State University men’s lacrosse team continues to prepare for the 2009 spring season as they opened with a solid 10-9 victory over the Colorado College Tigers of NCAA Division III during a scrimmage in Colorado Springs. They will face Genesis, a men’s club team in Loveland, Colorado, for one last scrimmage before they head off to San Luis Obispo, California for the first two games of the season against UC Santa Barbara Gauchos and Cal Poly Mustangs.
