The Colorado State men’s lacrosse team will compete in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference Tournament April 29-30. The Rams reached the RMLC Tournament on the strength of their 4-1 record against conference opponents. That record earned them the #2 seed and the opportunity to compete against BYU in a semifinal match-up Friday afternoon.
CSU (6) and BYU (7) face-off at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 29. The game is a rematch of the Rams 10-6 victory over the Cougars earlier this season. The winner of the match-up will proceed to the RMLC final at 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 30 to play the winner of Colorado (5) vs. Utah Valley.
The RMLC champion will seize a coveted automatic qualification to the MCLA National Tournament and likely solidify a top-5 seed in the competition. The losers will be on the outside looking in, desperately waiting for an invitation to the MCLA Tournament as an at-large bid.
At this moment, each team in the RMLC Tournament controls their own destiny. The Rams will look to grasp that opportunity and head back to Fort Collins with the RMLC title in hand.
