| Coach Flip Naumburg's Journal Thursday, May 1, 2008 THE SECOND (?) SEASON We begin the second season now. We could have as many as 6 meaningful games left. We could have as few as two. Whatever the number, the next one against Utah will be the first one of those very meaningful games. I am on the bus to Utah as I write this. We just got going and are still in Colorado. We had one of those freakish spring snowstorms today, where the temperature was 80 late in the afternoon yesterday and now it has almost shot down to being in the 30’s. I-80 (our route) was shut down in Wyoming a few hours ago, but the storm has pressed on Eastward, and the interstate has opened for traffic again. PHI BETA POTATOE We have our first academic All-American in several years, as Kevin Wolff (2010) was named second team RMLC all-star, and he carries a very high G.P.A., good enough to land him on the very lofty academic All-American team |
