ROLL ON
We will play our eleventh game of the season later today, at 3:00 in Denver against the
D.U. Club team. We have only 4 more I think after today before they become post-season
or playoff games.
It will be a nice field that we play on today. This opponent will have some good
individuals, mostly refugees from the D.U. Division I program. The current Division I varsity
Denver University Pioneers are, by the way, ranked nationally, doing very well, and doing
it with lots of Colorado kids on the roster. The Varsity must be back east playing
this week.
BEAT YOUR BRAINS IN
This section is not the 'meat' of our season. I like the way our 2006 game slate
has worked so far. In this schedule 'sandwich' we have the bread in the middle and
the deli ingredients on top and bottom. The game today is important only in my mind
and for our progress. Next week is when things will crank up and get meaty, beaty,
big, and bouncy.
Meanwhile the Sonomas, the C.U.'s, the Santa Barbaras, and the Oregons are out there
beating each other's brains in or out for these couple of weeks. Good. I hope
you all knock the hell out of one another real good, and in the mean time I hope we can
get somewhat healthier than we have recently become.
